intersections:architecture
intersections: is an event series uncovering the overlap between urban planning and its adjacent professions for students and emerging professionals in both fields. Hosted by APA’s Student & Emerging Planners Council, Intersections: events will feature change makers in architecture, civil engineering, environmental studies, and political science to discuss how they apply planning principles in their fields, and where they believe future opportunities lay.

intersections:architecture invites emerging professionals and students from both urban planning and architecture to take part in the discussion on January 21, 2022 at 3:00P E virtually. This event features Kristina Yu, Architect, Educator with McCLAIN+YU Architecture & Design, University of New Mexico and Thomas Kraubitz, Director, Buro Happold Cities Europe. The session will guide emerging professionals and students of both architecture and planning to grasp critical decision drivers and how to effectively collaborate. Topics will include advice for emerging professionals on working in the field, and interesting forms of audience participation.

The SRC hosts this event, for free. We encourage attendees to come with interesting questions for the panelists at the convergence of these two fields.
